About Gregory Lavigne, MD

Board-certified orthopedic surgeon Dr. Gregory Lavigne is part of the orthopedics program at Southeastern Sports Medicine and Orthopedics, which is a department of Pardee Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina. He specializes in upper and lower extremity trauma surgery and adult reconstructive orthopedic surgery.

Dr. Lavigne received his medical degree from Albany Medical College, and went on to complete a general surgery residency, orthopedic surgery residency, and fellowship in total joint arthroplasty at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburg. He was also a member of the teaching faculty at Allegheny General Hospital.

Dr. Lavigne sees patients at Southeastern Sports Medicine and Orthopedics at the Hendersonville (on Thompson Street), Asheville, Arden, and Waynesville locations. He is very attentive, taking time to give patients the personalized attention they deserve and explaining all procedures in detail so patients know what to expect.
